The team quiz guide · Part 5 of 5

Writing quiz questions with your AI app

Writing the questions is the slowest part of preparing a quiz. If you already use an AI app such as Claude or ChatGPT, you can connect it to kwizroom and have it do the first draft: new questions in your question bank, or a whole quiz ready for you to check.

What you can ask it

Once your AI app is connected, you ask in plain words, in the chat you already use. For example:

kwizroom tells the app to search your bank before it writes, so it reuses questions you already have rather than adding near-copies. It also tells it to follow the advice in Writing good quiz questions: one fact and one answer per question, no “which of these”, acceptable alternates for answers people spell in different ways, and only facts it's sure of.

You review everything

An AI app can be confidently wrong, so nothing it writes goes in front of your team until you have looked at it.

What it can't do

A connected app can search your bank, add questions to it and create draft quizzes. It can't edit or delete anything, verify its own questions, run or host a quiz, or see your password. You can disconnect it at any time from the AI apps tab in kwizroom, and its access stops straight away.

Setting it up

kwizroom works with any AI app that supports remote MCP servers, including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Claude Code. In each one you add kwizroom's connector URL, then sign in to kwizroom and click Approve. It takes a couple of minutes.
